راهنماي درمان مالاريا درمان باليني مبتلايان به مالارياي ويواكس درمان با كلروكين CHLORO QUINE( 4 – aminoquinoline ) -Tablets containing 100 mg or 150 mg of CQ base as phosphate or sulfate. -Syrup containing 50 mg of base as CQ phosphate or sulfate in 5 ml. Efficacy: CHLORO QUINE Rapid schizonticidal activity against all infections of p. malariae and p.ovale and against CQ sensitive infection of p. falciparum and p.vivax. Gametocytocidal against p.vivax , p.malariae and p.ovale as well as immature gametocytes of p. falciparum. It is not active against intra hepatic forms and should be used with primaquine to effect radical cure of p.vivax and p. ovale. CHLORO QUINE نكته هاي مهم پس از آغاز درمان اگر 72 ساعت يا بيشتر در مصرف كلروكين وقفه ايجاد شده باشد، دوره درمان تكرار شود. وچنانچه اين زمان كمتر از 72 ساعت باشد، ادامه درمان توصيه مي گردد. Adverse effects CHLORO QUINE Serious adverse reactions to CQ are rare at the usual anti malarial dosages but pruritus is common among dark skinned people. Transient headaches , nausea , vomiting , GI symptoms and blurred vision may also experience this maybe avoided by administering the dose after a meal. CHLORO QUINE
